HALOTECH DNA, S.L. informs that, as a data hosting service provider and in accordance with Law 34/2002 of July 11 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI), it retains, for a maximum period of 12 months, the essential information needed to identify the origin of hosted data and the date on which the service began.
This data retention does not affect the confidentiality of communications and such information will only be used in the context of a criminal investigation or to safeguard public security, and will be made available to judges and/or courts or to the Ministry that may require it.
The communication of data to law enforcement agencies will be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the applicable personal data protection regulations.

HALOTECH DNA, S.L. holds all copyrights, intellectual and industrial property rights, “know-how,” and any other rights related to the contents of the website www.halotechdna.com and the services offered therein, as well as to the software required for its implementation and the associated information.
Reproduction, publication and/or use of the contents—whether in whole or in part—for anything other than strictly personal and private purposes is not permitted without the prior written consent of HALOTECH DNA, S.L.
SOFTWARE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The user must respect third-party software made available by HALOTECH DNA, S.L., even if it is free and/or publicly accessible. HALOTECH DNA, S.L. holds the necessary intellectual property and exploitation rights for the software. The user does not acquire any rights or licenses over the software required for the provision of the service, nor over the technical service-related information, except for the rights and licenses necessary for the fulfillment of the contracted services and only for the duration of said services. For any action beyond what is required for the fulfillment of the contract, the user must obtain prior written authorization from HALOTECH DNA, S.L. The user is strictly prohibited from accessing, modifying, or viewing the configuration, structure, and files of HALOTECH DNA, S.L.’s servers. The user assumes full civil and criminal liability for any incidents that may occur on the servers and security systems as a direct result of negligent or malicious actions.INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OF HOSTED CONTENT
The use of HALOTECH DNA, S.L.’s services in a way that infringes intellectual property laws is strictly prohibited, including but not limited to:
- Any use that contravenes Spanish law or infringes on the rights of third parties.
- The publication or transmission of any content which, in HALOTECH DNA, S.L.’s opinion, is violent, obscene, abusive, illegal, racist, xenophobic, or defamatory.
- Cracks, serial numbers of software, or any other content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights.
- The collection and/or use of personal data from other users without their explicit consent, or in violation of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.
- The use of the domain’s mail server and email addresses for sending unsolicited bulk email.
- The user assumes full responsibility for the content hosted on their website, the information transmitted and stored,
- hyperlinks, third-party claims, and any legal actions related to intellectual property, third-party rights, and the protection of minors.
The user is responsible for complying with applicable laws and regulations, as well as the rules related to the operation of the online service, electronic commerce, copyright, public order maintenance, and universal principles of Internet use.
The user shall indemnify HALOTECH DNA, S.L. for any expenses incurred due to legal claims made against HALOTECH DNA, S.L. that are attributable to the user, including legal fees and defense costs, even in the case of a non-final court ruling.
PROTECTION OF HOSTED INFORMATION
HALOTECH DNA, S.L. makes backup copies of the content stored on its servers. However, it is not responsible for the loss or accidental deletion of data by users. Likewise, it does not guarantee the full recovery of data deleted by users, since such data may have been removed or altered during the time elapsed since the last backup. The services offered, except for specific backup services, do not include the restoration of content saved in HALOTECH DNA, S.L.’s backups when the data loss is caused by the user. In such cases, a fee will be determined based on the complexity and volume of the recovery, and will only be applied with the user’s prior approval. The restoration of deleted data is only included in the service price when the data loss is due to causes attributable to HALOTECH DNA, S.L.COMMERCIAL COMMUNICATIONS
In accordance with the LSSI, HALOTECH DNA, S.L. will not send advertising or promotional messages via email or other electronic means unless they have been previously requested or expressly authorized by the recipients.
For users with a prior contractual relationship, HALOTECH DNA, S.L. is authorized to send commercial messages related to HALOTECH DNA, S.L. products or services that are similar to those initially contracted by the customer.
In any case, the user may, after verifying their identity, request to stop receiving commercial information through the Customer Service channels.
